Dive Timor Lorosae (DTL, also known as Dive Timor) is a dive centre in Dili, operating since 2000. The official tourism site describes it as Dili’s longest-running dive operator, and the centre says it is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center.
What it offers
- PADI courses: Discover Scuba, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response, Divemaster, Instructor and specialty courses, including technical diving
- Guided dives: shore dives along the north coast of the main island and boat dives to Atauro Island, plus night dives
- Snorkelling and whale watching trips in season (see whale and dolphin watching)
- Equipment rental and dive insurance
- Accommodation: guest rooms, a guest house and studio apartments, and a restaurant
In 2026 the centre said it was renovating: the accommodation work is finished and the dive-centre work was under way. Prices are not published; contact the centre for current rates.
