The Success, known locally as the “Laju Laju”, is a roll-on/roll-off passenger and cargo ferry on the public timetable of APORTIL, Timor-Leste’s port authority. It carries around 360 passengers plus vehicles and freight, and sails from Kolmera in central Dili, not from Porto Dili, where the Berlin Nakroma leaves.
Timetable and fares
As checked by the official tourism site against the APORTIL board (August 2026):
| Route | Days | Departs | Fare (one way) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dili → Atauro (Beloi) | Tuesday, Friday | 8:00am | US$5 |
| Atauro (Beloi) → Dili | Tuesday, Friday | 3:00pm | US$5 |
| Dili → Oé-Cusse | Wednesday, Sunday | 4:00pm | US$10 |
| Oé-Cusse → Dili | Monday, Thursday | 4:00pm | US$10 |
The Dili–Atauro crossing takes about 3 hours. On the other Atauro days (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) the Berlin Nakroma sails instead, for US$4.
