The Xanana Gusmão Reading Room (Sala de Leitura Xanana Gusmão) is a free public library, museum and community space in the Lecidere area of Dili. It opened in June 2000, founded by Kirsty Sword Gusmão, and is named after resistance leader and first President Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão. Alongside books and archives, it hosts permanent and temporary exhibitions by Timorese and international artists, and runs reading and writing programmes.
