Most of Timor-Leste’s hotels are in the capital, Dili, from business hotels near the airport to beachfront rooms on the Areia Branca coast east of the centre. Outside Dili the choice is much smaller; see the accommodation directory for other areas.
Central Dili and near the airport
- Timor Plaza Hotel & Apartments: hotel and serviced apartments on the upper floors of the Timor Plaza complex in Comoro, with a pool and rooftop bar
- Timor Lodge Hotel and Residence: garden hotel on Avenida Nicolau Lobato, about 5 minutes from the airport, with a pool and gym
- Palm Springs Hotel Dili: business hotel in Fatuhada, about 4 km from the airport
- Novo Turismo Resort & Spa: large hotel on Avenida Bidau in Lecidere, with a pool, spa and gym
- Excelsior Resort Hotel: long-established hotel near Timor Plaza and the beach, with a pool; facilities are dated
- Beach Garden Hotel: rooms and kitchen-equipped apartments with a pool, suited to families and longer stays
- Sakura Tower Hotel: simple mid-size hotel in Audian; we could not confirm it is operating, so check before you travel
On the beach
- Oceanview Beach Restaurant & Resort: beachfront rooms at Bebonuk, west Dili, facing Atauro
- Beachside Hotel and Cafe Dili: hotel, café and bar on Areia Branca beach in Metiaut, east Dili
- Caz Bar Seaside Villa: a single beachfront bungalow at Caz Bar on the Areia Branca coast
Near Dili
- Tibar Beach Retreat: hilltop bungalows above Tibar Bay in Liquiçá, about 30 minutes west; we could not confirm it is operating
- Maria Diamantina Martins Homestay: family-run homestay in Aileu, in the hills south of Dili
