Dili, May 31, 2019 (Lusa) – The Timorese state has executed 31.9% of the State Budget for this year (31.9%), according to the Transparency Portal of the Ministry of Finance of Timor-Leste.



In the first five months of the year, the state had executed $ 387.45 million, with commitments of $ 122.13 million and obligations of $ 85 million, according to the same source.

On the revenue side, the Government has collected by the end of this month some $ 107.67 million, or 45.8% of the total budgeted this year, which amounts to about $ 198.55 million.

The Timorese National Directorate of Domestic Taxes, which has already raised $ 23.17 million, and the National Customs Directorate, with approximately $ 26.95 million, represent the main sources of revenue.
