Dili, 14 Jun 2019 (Lusa) – Timorese Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak leaves for medical treatment abroad on Sunday and is replaced by the Minister of State for the Presidency of the Council of Ministers.



“I have a health problem and on June 16 I go abroad and Minister Agio Pereira will lead the Government during my absence,” the head of government told reporters after a meeting with the President of the Republic.

Taur Matan Ruak did not reveal the health problem or indicate when he will return to Timor-Leste.
